What is a Michelin Key?

From 2024, the Michelin Guide will not only recognise the world’s best restaurants, but also the most outstanding hotels with a new award for excellence: the Michelin Key. To award this, the guide assesses the hotel’s service and hospitality, the design of the establishments, their unique identity, their connection to the destination and the quality of their services.

Selected for its unique style, impeccable customer service, refined atmosphere and excellent value for money, amongst other criteria, the Hotel Único Madrid has become one of the 80 hotels in Spain to be awarded a Michelin Key. Amongst the mere 10 establishments in Madrid to have received this distinction are this hotel and our own award-winning The Principal Madrid.
