The Madrid Tennis Masters is back

The world's top tennis players are gathering once again this spring in the Spanish capital to compete in the prestigious Madrid Masters 1000 tournament.

The tournament will take place from 26 April to 8 May at the iconic Caja Mágica under the official name of the Mutua Madrid Open 2022. And, as every year, fans from all over the world will flock to Madrid to watch the world’s top players in action.

The Madrid Masters is a must-see sporting event for tennis fans. It forms part of the international ATP Masters 1000 series, with Madrid being the fourth city to host the tournament each season. Since 2009, the Madrid Masters has been held at the famous Caja Mágica, one of the most modern tennis venues in the world. The complex features three clay courts, the largest of which is the Manolo Santana Centre Court, which can accommodate up to 12,500 spectators.

With just a few weeks to go before the competition, some of the big names set to take part in the tournament have already been announced. Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Naomi Osaka, Paula Badosa, Garbiñe Muguruza, Carlos Alcaraz and the reigning Madrid Masters champions, Alexander Zverev and Aryna Sabalenka, are just some of the star players who will be battling it out for the title at the Caja Mágica.

Tickets for the Madrid Tennis Masters

The 2022 Mutua Madrid Open offers a range of season tickets for enjoying the tournament matches. Ticket prices for matches on Centre Court range from €10 for the qualifying rounds to €313 for the finals in the lower tier and €212 in the upper tier.
