The Cultural Centre

Just a stone's throw from the Feria de Madrid and the imposing Atlético de Madrid stadium, you can find natural features, interesting spots and places teeming with life; one such place is the little-known Quinta de los Molinos Park.

A public garden that was originally an urban country estate, featuring areas of agricultural land and a distinct Mediterranean character. Today, it comprises extensive areas of varied vegetation, notably olive trees, pines, eucalyptus trees and the park’s star attraction: almond trees. An area of diverse natural beauty that complements buildings and architecture designated as being of significant interest.

The park, divided into two areas, invites visitors to explore the romantic landscaping of the northern section and the agricultural landscape of the southern section. These are two completely contrasting areas, yet they coexist in an environment where traditional, historic agriculture blends with the beauty and charm of the romantic style found in the northern section. Five entrance gates also guard this secret, bordered to the south by Calle Alcalá, to the north by Calle Juan Ignacio Luca de Tena, to the east by Avenida 25 de Septiembre and to the west by Calle Miami; multiple entrances that invite us to discover the garden from different starting points.

Today, the park is launching a new area: Espacio Abierto Quinta de los Molinos. This new cultural hub is opening its doors at the Palacete de La Quinta de los Molinos. Designed primarily for children and teenagers, it is dedicated, on the one hand, to offering a permanent programme of workshops, shows and various activities. On the other hand, it serves as a place where young people can socialise and get to know one another.

This new space encourages hands-on learning and social interaction, offering activities and opportunities for engagement designed for children and young people aged 0 to 16, with the aim of fostering creativity in young people from an early age.

We invite you to explore the park, its natural attractions, and its cultural and educational activities.
