A quintessentially Madrilenian spot, Café Comercial is old-school – 130 years old, to be precise – the sort of place where Hemingway would hang out if he were still around.
A lively corner bar and urban fine-dining restaurant in one, each with its own menu. From chocolate with churros first thing in the morning to a cocktail to round off the evening, Café Comercial is the equivalent of a French bistro, a constant witness to the comings and goings of a mix of locals and tourists, complete with an outdoor terrace. The food offering is divided between traditional tapas and the restaurant’s Mediterranean/Spanish dishes. Live music programme.
