There is an aristocratic secret that has preserved every detail over the years in Madrid. It is a place that has been visited by people from all over the world to discover melodies with over a century of history and to marvel at the classic atmosphere of the late 19th-century aristocracy.
The Cerralbo Museum is one of the few museums in the Spanish capital to display the original period décor, creating an atmosphere that immediately captivates visitors to this residence, which was meticulously restored in the first decade of the 21st century. It offers a harmonious ambience that remains exactly as the Marquis of Cerralbo intended.

A place that stood at the very heart of the Civil War, sharing its neighbourhood with the university district and the teaching hospital.
This museum houses paintings from the 15th to the 19th centuries, including works by El Greco, Tintoretto and Zurbarán, amongst others. It also features a collection of weapons and armour, a historical record of the noble past of the house’s former owners, as well as a well-stocked library and a coin collection comprising over twenty-five thousand items.
