The Flower Garden – Lázaro Galdiano Museum
José Lázaro Galdiano was a Spanish intellectual and collector who, during his lifetime, amassed a collection of over 20,000 books and many other works of art and artefacts.
The museum and gardens, which opened to the public in 1951, display some of these pieces arranged across the various floors of the residence where José Lázaro Galdiano lived. The design of the park, which covers 5,000 m² of landscaped grounds, combines the naturalistic English tradition with the more formal French style, both of which were common in the early 20th century when the gardens were laid out.
